Freeze fresh produce and leftovers if you don\u2019t have the chance to eat them before they go bad.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Consume less meat and become vegetarian for one day a week. The meat production industry has a huge impact on the environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Buy local and in-season food. Try to grow some of your own food.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Buy Funny Fruit\u2014many fruits and vegetables are thrown out because their size, shape, or color are not \u201cright\u201d.
